These terms apply to your use of downloadumbrella.com and to anything you buy from Download Umbrella ("we", "us"). By using the site or making a purchase, you agree to them.

1. What you're buying

Our products are digital files (such as PDF patterns, templates, checklists and planners). Nothing is shipped. After payment you'll receive a download link by email and on your order confirmation page.

2. Your license to use our files

When you buy a file, you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it:

Patterns and craft files: make as many items as you like for yourself or as gifts. You may sell items you make from our patterns in small, handmade quantities; please credit Download Umbrella as the pattern source where practical.
Business templates, forms and planners: edit and use them within your own business or household.

You may not resell, share, give away, upload to file-sharing sites, or claim as your own the files themselves, in original or edited form. All files remain our property and are protected by copyright.

3. Information, not professional advice

Business templates, checklists and planners are general starting points. They are not legal, tax, financial or other professional advice. Check that anything you use meets the laws and requirements that apply to you, and consult a qualified professional where needed.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars and may change at any time; the price you pay is the one shown at checkout. Payments are processed securely by Shopify. Applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout.

6. Disclaimer and limit of liability

Our files are provided "as is". We work hard to make them accurate, but we don't guarantee they're error-free or suitable for every purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase.
